Steamships Limited is in search of a proven, capable and results-driven individual for the role of Restaurant Manager. The successful candidate will report to the Hotel General Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Restaurant Manager located in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the restaurant’s operations to ensure it runs efficiently, satisfies customers, and generates profits.  Their role requires a combination of leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of the restaurant industry and its unique challenges.

Require Experiences

• Significant experiences – minimum 3-4 years as Restaurant Manager
• Flexible and able to work on shifts.
• High knowledge of HACCP and HSSE Standards

Qualifications and Key Competencies

• Certificate/Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality, equivalent or higher
• Strong hotel background with both rooms division and food & beverage experience
• Organization and delegation
• Forward planning with strategic thinking
• Problem solving and decision making skills
• Good Communication with customer service skills
• High level of responsibility and accountability
• Great positive attitude
• Attention to details.
• Inspire, coach, and motivate staff.
