Steamships Limited is in search of a proven, capable and results-driven individual for the role of Housekeeping Manager. The successful candidate will report to the Hotel General Manager.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Housekeeping Manager located in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will ensure that the hotel maintains a higher standard of cleanliness, order, and overall appearance. You will play a crucial role in the smooth operations of these business by managing and coordinating housekeeping staff to meet specific objectives and deliver a positive experience for guests or clients.

Require Experiences

• Must have minimum 3-4 years experience as Head/or executive housekeeper or similar
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety Standards

Qualifications and Key Competencies

• Diploma/ Degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management, equivalent or higher
• Problem solving and thinking on feet to handle problems and emergencies whilst making effective decisions.
• Strong planning and organization skills
• Nurture working relationships with teams and other departments such as front office and maintenance;
• Strong attention to details to ensure that hotel standards are consistently met;
• Professional serviced approach knowledge
• High level of responsibility and accountability
• Great positive attitude
• Flexible and able to work on shifts
