Steamships Limited is in search of a proven, capable and results-driven individual for the role of a Business Analyst with an expertise in business process design, build, test, train, rollout and of the new systems such as Finance and Business specific systems. The successful candidate will report to the ERP Project Manager. 

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Analyst located in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, specifically focusing on our new implementations. He/she will work closely with steamships business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and implement effective solutions that streamline finance operations and support business objectives.

Required Experience

• Experience as a Finance Analyst, Business Analyst, Senior Accountant, Financial Controller, or similar role, preferable with exposure to ERP implementations
• Strong understanding of financial process, accounting principles, and best practices
• Experience with ERP Systems, preferable with hands-on involvement in system testing.

Qualifications and Key Ccompetencies

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis, and data validation process
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effective with cross – functional teams
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Microsoft Excel, ERP software and data visualization tools.
