Steamships Limited is in search of a proven, capable and results-driven individual for the role of Resident Manager. The successful candidate will report to the Hotel General Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Resident Manager located in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. As a Resident Manager, you will be responsible for various business functions that ensure the overall success and profitability of the hotel. This will include balancing guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial management to create a positive and enjoyable experience for guests while achieving the hotel’s business goals.

 

Require Experiences

  • Significant experiences – three (3) years in Hospitality Industry
  • Leading and inspiring teams
  • Flexible and able to work on shifts.

 

Qualifications and Key Competencies

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Management Major post graduate preferred, equivalent or higher.
  • Strong hotel background with both rooms division and food & beverage experience
  • Have passion to drive for results.
  • Innovative and interested to develop new products and services.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good Problem-solving skills.
  • Have a strong work ethic.
  • Attention to details.
  • Mindset should be to ensure guest satisfaction.
