Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resource Business Partner located in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. As a Human Resource Business Partner, you will work closely with the respective GM's to build people capability, plan & manage talent and develop approaches that achieve shared organisational objectives. This will include Industrial Relations and Labour/Maritime Compliance (Liaison with Union consultants), supervision of Logistics HR Hubs, contributions to management recruitment in Logistics, contributions to reward & welfare strategies and logistics organisational development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resource, Business Management, equivalent in different field or higher.
• Understand principles of People Management & Culture change
• 10 years or more payroll & employee administration experience
• 5 years or more managerial experience in HR or Finance related field
• Able to understand Salary Benchmarking
• Comprehensive understanding of employment related taxes
• Effective in stakeholder management, problem solving and conflict resolutions.
• Able to create and present management presentations and reports.
• Has successful change project management experience, from conception to evaluation stage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and across all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
