Satish Kumar was appointed General Manager from March 2015 onwards. Prior to this role he has held several senior roles in IT within and outside of Swire Group. He was Group IT Manager for Grupo Mozfoods and based in Chimoio, Mozambique up to Feb 2015. He was IT Head for Africa and Sri Lanka for Finlays business operations in Horticulture, Floriculture, Leaf Tea, Tea Extract, Tea Trading, Rubber and Cinnamon Plantation and Airfreight & Logistics and based in Nairobi, Kenya up to Feb 2014. He was IT Head for Africa for Homegrown with business operations in Horticulture, Floriculture, and Airfreight & Logistics and based in Nairobi, Kenya up to Jun 2008. Prior to this, he held several positions with TERI in New Delhi, India and ICS-UNIDO in Trieste, Italy. Satish holds a bachelor degree in science from University of Delhi, Delhi and master in computer science & mathematics from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. Satish was part of Swire management development programme 2012 held at INSEAD, Singapore.
