Russel Sy
Chief Executive Officer - Steamships Property Division
Russel Sy joined Steamships as the General Manager at Pacific Palms Property (PPP), in late 2021. He became the Chief Executive Officer of the Steamships Property Division in November 2023.
Prior to joining PPP, Russel was VP for Commercial Properties at SM Prime in the Philippines and Chief Strategy Officer at TECOM Investments in Dubai. Russel's 28 years of experience include Telecommunications (Sky), Petroleum Retailing (Shell), and Fast-Moving Moving Consumer Goods (Procter & Gamble).
Russel earned a Bachelor in Management Engineering from Ateneo de Manilla University and an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland. He also studied Property, Asset and Portfolio Management at the Centre for Real Estate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA, USA.
